- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and oregano, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture.
- Adjust lemon to taste for more or less tang.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables.
