Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add the crumbled feta cheese, heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until the feta is melted and the mixture is creamy.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
