- 8 ounces pasta of your choice
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Reduce heat to low and add the crumbled feta cheese, heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir until the feta is melted and the mixture is creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
