- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
