- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and no longer pink inside (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove and slice.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
- Return chicken to the pan and mix with the sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- For extra richness, stir in 1/4 cup of pasta water.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
