A delicious and easy-to-make shrimp bowl with creamy garlic butter sauce and herb rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice and cook it in broth until tender, then stir in parsley and dill.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2 minutes per side.
  3. Remove shrimp and set aside. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir until smooth. Return shrimp to the pan and coat with sauce.
  5. Serve shrimp over herb rice and garnish with extra herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
  • Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
