- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for one minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in shredded chicken and heavy cream.
- Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Simmer for 10 more minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot.
