Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink inside.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, basil, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh Parmesan for best flavor.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
