Description

A rich and flavorful pasta dish with tender Cajun-spiced salmon in a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  7. Flake salmon into chunks and add back to the skillet.
  8. Toss cooked pasta with the creamy sauce and salmon.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
  • Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
