Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- Add cooked chicken or shrimp for a heartier dish.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water to reach desired consistency.
