- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, parsley, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and beaten egg.
- Gently mix until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add crab cakes to the skillet, cooking for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
