- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites and sear until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and add the cowboy butter mixture.
- Toss until the steak bites are coated and the butter is melted.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the steak bites marinate in the seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking.
- You can use any cut of steak you prefer, but sirloin works well for this recipe.
