Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until fully done. Slice into strips.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Add cooked linguine and chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, increase cayenne pepper.
  • Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
