Description

Ingredients

  • 34 pounds corned beef brisket
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium carrots, chopped
  • 6 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 1 small head of cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the corned beef brisket in the crock pot.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes around the brisket.
  3. Pour beef broth over the ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle mustard seeds and peppercorns on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Add cabbage wedges during the last 2 hours of cooking.
  7. Once done, slice the brisket and serve with vegetables.
