Description
A homemade version of Raising Cane’s famous chicken fingers, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, served with their signature Cane’s sauce.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into strips.
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour.
- Mix flour and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Dredge chicken strips in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or large pot.
- Fry chicken strips for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with Cane’s sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double-dredge the chicken strips.
- Use a thermometer to maintain oil temperature.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes after frying for best texture.
