Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • 23 slices of turkey or chicken breast
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On the first slice, layer lettuce, tomato, turkey, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side up.
  5. On the second slice, layer bacon, more lettuce, and tomato. Season again if desired.
  6. Top with the third slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks and cut it into quarters.
  8. Serve immediately with chips or a side salad.
