A classic peach cobbler pie with a buttery crust and juicy peach filling.

- 6 cups sliced fresh peaches
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 4 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Pour peach mixture into a 9-inch pie dish. Dot with butter.
- In another bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
- Roll dough into a circle and place over peaches. Trim edges and cut slits in the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
