- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, and beef broth.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
