- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine blackberries and 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside.
- Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until just combined.
- Pour batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Spoon blackberry mixture evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use frozen blackberries if fresh ones are not available.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
