Description

A rich and creamy beef stroganoff made without alcohol. Tender beef strips cooked in a savory sauce with mushrooms and served over noodles or rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook onions and mushrooms until softened.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
  6. Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard.
  8. Return beef to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  9. Stir in sour cream and heat through.
  10. Season with salt and pepper.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over noodles or rice.
