Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Dredge the clam strips in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Carefully place the coated clam strips into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the clam strips from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
