  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. For the icing, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
