Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls topped with creamy icing.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, warm the milk and mix in the yeast.
- Add sugar, butter, and eggs, then stir.
- Combine flour, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients until dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll it tightly and cut into slices.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese for icing.
- Drizzle icing over rolls before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds.
- For extra flavor, add nuts or raisins.
