Description
Delicious soft cinnamon rolls topped with cream cheese icing.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour, covered.
- Roll out the dough and spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar for icing.
- Drizzle icing over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Store leftover rolls in an airtight container.
- Reheat for a few seconds in the microwave before serving.
