Description

This recipe makes soft and fluffy cinnamon rolls using a bread machine.


Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add flour, sugar, salt, yeast, warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Select the dough cycle and start the machine.
  3. Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  4. Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar evenly on top.
  5. If using, sprinkle raisins over the cinnamon mixture.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other and cut it into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place the cinnamon rolls in a greased baking pan and cover with a cloth. Let them rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh yeast for best results.
  • You can add a glaze made of powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness.
