- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix shrimp, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- In another bowl, combine shredded cabbage, sour cream, lime juice, and salt to make the slaw.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble tacos with shrimp and slaw. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust spice levels with more or less cumin and pepper.
- For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños.
