Delicious cinnamon rolls shaped like a Christmas tree.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into pieces.
- Arrange the pieces in a tree shape on a baking tray.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Drizzle icing over the rolls before serving.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife for cutting the dough.
- Adjust the cinnamon to your taste.
- These can be made ahead and frozen.
