Description
Delicious cinnamon rolls shaped like Christmas trees.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter on the dough.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the butter.
- Cut into strips and shape into a Christmas tree.
- Place on a baking tray and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Mix icing sugar and milk for icing, then drizzle over rolls.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife to cut the dough for clean edges.
- Experiment with different toppings.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
