Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Cream butter and sugar together
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla
  4. Mix flour and salt separately
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture
  6. Fill cookie press with dough
  7. Press cookies onto ungreased baking sheets
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden
  9. Cool on wire racks
