Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup
- Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- Rosemary – 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Thyme – 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt – 2 teaspoons
- Pepper – 1 teaspoon
- Chicken broth – 2 cups
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Almonds – 1/2 cup, sliced
- Cranberry sauce – 1 jar
- Pumpkin pie – 1 pie
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare turkey by rubbing butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper all over.
- Place turkey in roasting pan and add chicken broth.
- Roast turkey for about 3 hours, basting occasionally.
- In the last 30 minutes, add green beans and almonds to the pan.
- Once cooked, let turkey rest before carving.
- Serve with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

- Allow turkey to rest for 20 minutes before serving.
- Adjust cooking time based on turkey size.
