Description
Deliciously soft and sweet cinnamon rolls perfect for Christmas morning.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt to the mixture.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk to make icing.
- Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Rolls can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
