Description

Delicious Christmas cinnamon rolls filled with cinnamon and sugar.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread melted butter on the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Add raisins if desired.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  9. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  11. Mix icing sugar and milk for glaze and drizzle over rolls after baking.
