Description
Delicious Christmas cinnamon rolls filled with cinnamon and sugar.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 cup icing sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter on the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Add raisins if desired.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix icing sugar and milk for glaze and drizzle over rolls after baking.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
