- 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add carrots and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Stir in brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
- Pour in water and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until carrots are tender.
- Uncover and cook for 2 more minutes to thicken the glaze.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh carrots for best results.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
