Ingredients

- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 100g hazelnut spread
- 50g unsalted butter
- 50ml heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50g cocoa powder (for coating)
- 50g chopped hazelnuts (for coating)
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over low heat until warm.
- Pour the warm cream mixture over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until smooth, then add hazelnut spread and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
- Scoop small portions and roll into balls.
- Coat truffles in cocoa powder or chopped hazelnuts.
- Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- If the mixture is too soft, refrigerate longer before shaping.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
