Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 100g hazelnut spread
  • 50g unsalted butter
  • 50ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g cocoa powder (for coating)
  • 50g chopped hazelnuts (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter over low heat until warm.
  3. Pour the warm cream mixture over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir until smooth, then add hazelnut spread and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Scoop small portions and roll into balls.
  7. Coat truffles in cocoa powder or chopped hazelnuts.
  8. Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.
