- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (220g) packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups (350g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake.
- Substitute chocolate chips with nuts if preferred.
