Ingredients

- 2 large potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Slice them thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat the potato slices dry with a paper towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, and any optional seasonings until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Place the potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chips and let them cool on a wire rack. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding different spices or herbs.
- Make sure to cut the potato slices evenly for consistent cooking.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the slices and the model of your air fryer.
