A simple and flavorful chili sauce recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 10 fresh red chilies
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Wash and stem the red chilies.
- Peel the garlic cloves.
- Blend the chilies and garlic with vinegar and water until smooth.
- Add sugar and salt, and blend again.
- Transfer the mixture to a saucepan.
- Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool before transferring to a bottle.
Notes
- Adjust the number of chilies for spice level.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
