- 2 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add mushrooms and thyme. Cook until mushrooms soften.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Return chicken to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes, until heated through.
- Serve hot.

- Use fresh mushrooms for best flavor.
- Adjust cream thickness by adding more broth if needed.
