Description

A flavorful dish combining tender chicken with creamy garlic parmesan rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add rice and stir to coat with butter and garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Cook for 2 more minutes until creamy.
  6. Slice cooked chicken and place on top of the rice. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor.
  • Adjust salt to taste if using low-sodium broth.
  • For extra richness, add 1/4 cup more cream.
