- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything together until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked turkey for chicken if desired.
- Feel free to add additional seasonings or herbs for more flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
