  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess. Then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts.
  5. Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
