Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess. Then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts.
- Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
