  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
  5. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
