- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper. In another dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch thick. This helps them cook evenly.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece of chicken, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
