Description

A delicious twist on grilled cheese with crispy chicken, melted cheese, and marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place one bread slice, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer mozzarella, chicken, marinara sauce, and Parmesan on the bread.
  5. Top with the second bread slice, buttered side up.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cheese melts.
  7. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use leftover grilled or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
