Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to ensure it sticks well.
  5. Spray both sides of the coated chicken with olive oil spray.
  6. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken over, then spoon marinara sauce over each breast and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
