- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Season flour with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Place the fried chicken in a baking dish.
- Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
- Serve hot with pasta or salad.

- You can use store-bought marinara sauce or make your own.
- Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
