Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • to taste salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 (optional) green chili, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt. Gradually add water and knead until you have a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, coriander leaves, and green chili. Mix well.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the edges to form a pleated closure, pinching to seal tightly.
  5. Prepare a steamer and bring water to a boil. Place the momos in the steamer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other.
  6. Steam the momos for about 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the dough is translucent.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
