Description
A delicious and easy chicken marsala recipe made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer chicken to the crockpot.
- Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic on top of the chicken.
- Pour marsala wine and chicken broth over the ingredients.
- Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken before serving.

- Serve with pasta or rice.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor.
