Description

Chicken kofta with garlic sauce is a flavorful dish featuring spiced ground chicken shaped into balls or patties, served with a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For the garlic sauce: 1/2 cup yogurt, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the kofta for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  5. For the garlic sauce, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a small bowl.
  6. Serve the kofta hot with garlic sauce on the side.
