  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onions
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken slices with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and crumbled feta cheese to make the tzatziki sauce.
  4. Warm the pita breads in a skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble the gyros by placing cooked chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and red onions on each pita bread.
  6. Drizzle the creamy feta tzatziki sauce over the top.
