- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
Instructions
- Mix yogurt, feta, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki sauce.
- Slice chicken into thin strips and marinate in olive oil with remaining spices for 15 minutes.
- Cook chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
- Warm pita bread in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side.
- Assemble gyros by placing chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce inside pita bread.
